Let’s take a look at how this year the smartphone market plans to surprise sophisticated users. We present you a selection of the most anticipated smartphones of 2020.
13. Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 PRO
They will be sold for 523 and 607 dollars (38 913 and 45 163 rubles), respectively.
Both models can be without exaggeration called "Chinese flagship killers." Meizu 17 PRO has a larger screen - 6.6 inches, and the amount of RAM is either 8 GB or 12 GB. And if the case of the standard version is made of glass, the older version boasts premium ceramics.
In addition to fast charging, the owners of the PRO version will also have wireless charging, and the main camera also has a depth sensor, which is designed not only to improve the quality of shooting, but also to use the functions of virtual reality.
12. Redmi Note 9 Pro

Very soon, a new product from Xiaomi will appear in Russian stores - an updated version of the popular Redmi Note Pro smartphone.
The novelty is equipped with a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 and Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a capacious 5020 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging function and a single-chip Snapdragon 720G system paired with an Adreno 620 GPU GPU.
Among the features of this smartphone there is the contactless payment. And those who do not part with wired headphones will be pleased with the fact that the Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Somewhat unusual, the company's engineers decided to do with a fingerprint sensor. It is not located behind or under the screen, but on the side.
As for the main camera, it is equipped with four modules:

11. LG Velvet 5G

The price hints that this smartphone will be the flagship device of the company. It looks like a flagship and is protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard, but its Snapdragon 765G processor is not the best available on the mobile market.
If you come to terms with this fact, then the rest of the Velvet 5G will not disappoint your expectations. It has a 6.8 ″ OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20.5: 9 and a resolution of 2340 × 1080, carries 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory expandable up to 1 TB, has an NFC chip, and a battery capacity of 4300 mA h supports 10 W fast or wireless charging.
The manufacturer did not forget about the 3.5-mm audio jack, and stereo speakers are responsible for the high-quality sound in the Velvet 5G.
The main camera has a triple module:

The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 MP.
10. Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro
From 599 dollars (37 859 rubles) to 846 dollars (54 thousand rubles).
The presentation of this phone took place on February 13 in China, but the main specifications were announced a little earlier. The new flagship of the best Xiaomi smartphones received a “dream screen” (this is not our laudatory ode, but only a repetition of the words of the manufacturer itself). It is made using AMOLED technology, has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a brightness of 1120 cd / m2, a contrast ratio of 5,000,000: 1 and supports HDR10 +. In addition, the screen is certified by TUV Rheinland, which means that it has the highest comfort for the eyes of users.
The Mi 10 model will be one of the first phones based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 platform. The amount of RAM and internal memory is 8 GB (LPDDR5 standard) and from 128 to 256 GB (UFS 3.0 standard), respectively. There is also support for 5G networks, although for Russian users who do not travel abroad, where such communication is already in use, this is not yet relevant.
Both models are equipped with an incredible 108 MP camera with support for 50x digital zoom, and capable of shooting video in full 8K at a frequency of 30 frames per second.
In terms of light accuracy (JNCD <0.55), the Mi 10 is superior to the iPhone 11 Pro Max with its JNCD <0.9.
Xiaomi Mi 10 will be equipped with a 4780 mAh battery, but the Mi 10 Pro has a slightly smaller battery - 4500 mAh.
9. The line of Samsung Galaxy S20

Despite the initial assumption that Samsung will make the Galaxy S11 its flagship, the new premium line is called the S20 and includes three varieties at once.
- The most inexpensive model has a 6.2-inch screen.

- And the most expensive model S20 Ultra boasts 6.9 inches.
All screens support a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
All three phones work in 5G networks, are equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and have an impressive RAM capacity of 12 GB. As for the size of the internal storage, it varies from 128 to 256 GB (expandable) depending on the model.
The battery capacity of the initial model of the line is 4000 mAh, the more advanced - 4500 mAh, and the flagship - 5000 mAh. At the same time, the power of the charger for the S20 and S20 Plus is 25 watts, and for the S20 Ultra - 45 watts.
The main difference between the three models is the main camera. The S20 and S20 Plus got triple main cameras: 12 MP + 64 MP (telephoto) + 12 MP (wide-angle lens) with triple zoom. But the S20 Ultra camera consists of three modules: 108 MP + 48 MP + 12 MP and 10x optical zoom.
The front camera for the first two versions has a resolution of 10 MP, for Ultra - 40 MP.
8. Oppo Find X2
The likely price of a smartphone is $ 500 (31,815 rubles).
The presentation of one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2020 should take place on February 22 at MWC 2020, but so far, little is known about it.

Interestingly, the OnePlus 8 has IP53 water and dust protection, while the OnePlus 8 Pro has an IP68 rating. This means that this smartphone will become much more waterproof than previous devices of the company.
6. Nokia 9.2 PureView

You should not wait for this smartphone in the spring, it is good if it is presented in the summer, most likely at the European electronics exhibition IFA 2020 in August.
Experts of various publications explain such a long delay by the manufacturer’s desire to “bring to mind” the invisible sub-screen front camera - the main feature of the new model. If problems arise with it, the smartphone can be released with a conventional front camera.
Nothing is known about the specifications of the device, nor about the price.
5. Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro

4. Google Pixel 4a and 4aXL

The main advantage of the devices should be a rear camera with a 48 MP sensor. Will she be able to take better quality pictures than Xiaomi Mi 10 and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra? Time will tell.
Following the latest fashion, the front camera of both models will hide in a small circular neckline.
2. Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 5G
